Uptown Stories 

Uptown Stories is a creative writing program that empowers young authors in Washington Heights through hands-on workshops, constructive feedback, and a pay-what-you-can model — ensuring every student, regardless of background, has the opportunity to become a published writer.

The Freedom from Within

The Freedom from Within program at Exodus Transitional Community is a trauma-informed program for Women and Girls ages 14–24 who have been impacted by incarceration, community violence, or systemic or interpersonal trauma. As a support program for justice-impacted women, it offers a safe, healing space where participants are empowered to move beyond their past and reclaim their futures.
